We believe access to education and access to opportunity is a fundamental human right. Inspired by the opening speech of the WEF co-chair from Kakuma Refugee Camp - • Mohamed's challenge to the global leaders ... , We created https://StepUp.One in order to re-skill the refugees on UNHCR camps in Social Media Marketing and connect them to global opportunities that pay. We started reskilling our pilot team of refugees at the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Jan 2019 and have since found employment for all of them. Based on our continued success, We have also started at the Kutupalong Refugee Camp in Cox bazaar and the Hope Hub in Kampala. Our vision is to scale this idea by reskilling refugees and finding jobs for 5000 refugees at the Kakuma refugee camp and make this into a self-sustainable engine run by our own refugee graduates leading and executing the training, sales, and delivery. Our long-term mission is to "repeat this successful model" across every refugee camp across the globe and impacting the 70+ million forcibly displaced population. Our graduates drive business impact for clients through 2 key services. 1.
