Exploring The Remodeled St. James Hotel In Cimarron NM And Legendary Outlaws, Lawmen, And Tales. Its had a reputation as being one of the most violent locations in all of New Mexico back in the day. It has been said that 23 men lost their lives in the old bar/saloon, which is still a popular hangout to this day. The bar has 20 plus bullet holes in the old press tin ceiling above and are ruminants of days gone by. St. James still holds a reputation as one of New Mexico's top 10 most haunted locations. I stayed there many times since the late 80's and can personally say, things do get a little strange from time to time. but that's another story. In this video I share what the hotel looks like after massive renovation over the past 4 years. Now in 2024 the St. James, while always having been an awesome location is now very luxurious, beautifully kept and well maintained hotel and I would highly recommend you at the very least "visit" if not stay at this amazing and historic hotel if you are ever in the area.
