If you're not using a Samsung device, you don't need to do the second step I showed — the Camera Assistant part. Just turn on HEIF. The secret isn’t in Instagram’s settings — it’s in compression and image format. I noticed that Apple automatically uses HEIF and JPEG, and that’s actually a really not good thing. You just need to make sure it’s properly set up in your settings. After years, I finally got an Apple device — and I’m figuring out the secret. Instagram isn’t actually more optimized on Apple. The real trick is that Apple automatically uses HEIF and JPEG formats, and HEIF uploads with better quality. The issue on Instagram is about how each brand captures and compresses photos. Android isn’t lower quality — with this method, you can share the highest-quality photos. In the other video, I explained how to upload it in even higher quality — by using HEIF format. The second method is this: if your phone is from the S series, it probably has the Camera Pro feature. Using that, you can take RAW photos that won’t lose quality even in Stories. However, there’s a difference in appearance between RAW and JPEG photos — JPEGs usually look more beautiful. You can subscribe for real solutions. I haven’t tested the video part yet, but I’ll improve that too
