This webinar guides PreK-12 educators in using state-level data to contextualize content and language integration for multilingual learners. It builds essential background knowledge on federal requirements, language acquisition, English language proficiency levels, and Maine’s English Language Proficiency Standards. The session introduces a strengths-based approach grounded in the PLUSS Framework to support universal design and meaningful access. Educators will also gain practical, collaborative planning tools and resources to implement purposeful, grade-level scaffolding.
