Dont shoot JPEG all the time, if you shoot JPEG only , you are potential missing out the full capabilities of your camera by shooting RAW it will enabe you greater editing option in post production here are some reasons why I was reluntant to shoot RAW for many years was the sheer amount of post editing, the increased storage space required, duplication of files, lack of editing skills, no colour grading knowledge additional cost of editing software, it was daunting confusing and frankly I confortable with JPEG only over the years Fujifilm have made this process very easy but often instructions are buried in manuals, film simulations are one of the reasons why I switched to the Fuji System from Sony full frame (Sony is an amzing work horse it has outstanding autofocus) where as Fujifilm offers a vast customisation options for the colours science available on any system, in this video I will hightlight the steps required to tweak a film simulation with RAW files for newcomers who are looking to shooting RAW and what to do with the files, 1. Managing work flow - store your files 2. Shoot less but with intent, imaging shooting a roll of film 24, 36e upto 72 exposure in a day, dont shoot everything in burst mode unless your shooting wildlife of sports. 3. enter you favourite film recipes - look a fujifilm weekly website for inspiration, 4.
