Why Walk to School

A short 8 minute film about walking to school, which looks at the benefits of walking, one girl's walk to school, an interactive spot strider game and different ways you can fit a walk into your day. Living Streets' Walk to School campaign aims to get more children walking to school. By walking to school, children become healthier and more independent, while traffic congestion and carbon emissions are reduced. Key to this campaign is the Walk Once a Week (WoW) scheme. Living Streets is the national charity that stands up for pedestrians.
