I set out to go and find the Mahabat Khan Mosque (masjid) here in the old town of Peshawar, the city I have always wanted to visit. On my way to that mosque I started realizing that it is not so easy to just head somewhere if you are on foot as there are lots of people who will stop and talk to you. And ask you to sit down, invite you for drinks, for a chat... the people I met on my way to that mosque were absolutely fascinatingly friendly, as much as the areas I passed were beautiful and amazing - in the end it did not matter that I arrived at the mosque just in time of prayer and didn't end up going in. It was today that I realized again that a journey is not about reaching the destination but actually about journey itself. Peshawar and its people are just amazing. Lots of love.
