Hey Fig Fam, With fall in our mild sub-tropical climate of zone 8b, it's a great time of year to put fruit and fig trees in the ground and even a good time to up-pot some of your figs and fruits into larger containers. I was gifted the brand new collection of Smart Pots to use on some of my larger container figs and I'm really excited to use them. I've heard really good things on how they manage the root systems and climate control the roots during the summer months. In this video I go over how to successfully up-pot your fig tree and I put these containers to use on some of my container figs that are in desperate need of strong, high quality containers to successfully grow.
