Minnesota Park Police released new body cam footage from the day of George Floyd’s fatal arrest. The video is heavily redacted with very little audio. The cop wearing the body cam was tasked to monitor a vehicle near to where George Floyd was arrested. Minneapolis Park Police said the officer wearing the body cam was not involved with the action that led to George Floyd’s death. “Based on a review of the body worn camera footage, which is being released to demonstrate the vantage point of the Park Police officer, The Park Police officer was not in a location to witness or intervene in the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) incident,” the Minneapolis Park Police said in a statement.
