(11 Mar 1995) Natsound Fighting intensified in Bosnia Friday as Muslim troops loyal to Fikret Abdic clashed with Bosnian government soldiers in the Bihac pocket. U-N observers counted 162 detonations in a four hour period. While the Bosnian government soldiers hold the lion's share of the Bihac pocket, Muslim forces loyal to Fikret Abdic continue to fight to retake the disputed territory. There was almost continuous fighting in the region on Friday, mostly mortar and artillery fire. A Bosnian army officer said that the government's 5th corps is now in control of the high ground south of Velika Kladusa. They have no immediate plans to try to take the town centre.
