Indigenous Villages in CHIAPAS, Mexico [Chamula and Zinacatan 2020]

While in San Cristobal De Las Casas,I had the opportunity to visit some of Mexico's indigenous communities. We drove out to Chamula and Zinacantan, two communities about 30 minutes from San Cristobal that have their own laws, religion, language, traditional dress and traditions. We learned about the textiles and clothing they make, their very unique church where photos are forbidden and they sometimes sacrifice chickens, as well as other local customs. Hope you enjoy this unique Chipas Mexico travel vlog from my visit in November 2020.
