A while ago I bought some autumn/fall home décor kits, thinking they would be a fun and cosy craft activity. Part one of this video is me using two felt pine cone kits, which was neither fun nor cosy! I include tips on how to modify the pieces to get a much better result, because I just cannot see how they got the results on the instruction sheet and box cover without some modifications to the pre-cut pieces. Once I got over my strop and figured out the best way to make them, I did actually love the final result - although I could have done with fewer hot glue burns on my fingers! Part two of the video is using my new pine cone silicone mould with epoxy resin. Spoiler alert - I absolutely LOVE how these turned out! Materials used: 'The Fall Collection' hanging felt pine cone making kits which I bought from The Range a couple of months ago Hot glue gun (please use silicone finger protectors if you make these!!!) Silicone pine cone mould from Shein Dark brown mica powder Apex high gloss two part epoxy resin Vista black liquid resin pigment Pebeo guilding wax in gold I used a couple of eyelet screws and earring hooks to make the smallest ones into earrings I hope you enjoy the video. I have another autumn themed video coming very soon then I'm back onto Hallowe'en again! Thanks so much for your continued support as I find my posting rhythm again. Music in this video is by Doctor Turtle, from the built-in music library on Movie Maker.
