Drain Pump Leak Fixed 🔧 Temporary Fix to Permanent Repair | Commercial Kitchen Service Call

Straightforward service call, solid outcome, and another ‪@rationalag‬ back in action 🔧 Earlier in the week I installed these units and noticed a leak coming from the drain pump. After digging in, I found the pump wasn’t fully seated. It had been twisted during install and that broke one of the mounting ears off the drain pump housing. As a temporary fix, I pushed the motor all the way in, secured it with zip ties, and got the unit up and running until I could come back with the correct drain pump housing. On this return visit, I manually drained the boiler (yeah, it’s slow… but it works), cut the zip ties, swapped the housing, reinstalled the pump, tightened everything up, and ran it through a full fill and drain cycle. No leaks, everything operating as it should, and the customer is happy. Unit fixed. Problem solved. On to the next one. Now I want to hear from you 👇 What do you think about this repair?
