He holds a PhD in public procurement from Makerere University and an MBA (Management of Government Procurement) from Maastricht School of Management. His research explores themes like public procurement management, sustainable food procurement, social value creation, procurement performance measurement systems, and sustainability and innovation procurement research. He is a certified Senior trainer for ATLAS.ti and Mendeley software, among other research tools. His preferred topics are mixed methods research; validity and reliability of qualitative data, qualitative data tools, and coding processes; and integrating positivism in qualitative research.
