🎉 Thrissur Zoological Park Wildlife Conservation & Research Centre is now officially open! 🐾 On October 28, 2025, the park was inaugurated by Hon. Chief Minister Sri Pinarayi Vijayan in a grand ceremony held at Puthur near Ollur, Thrissur. This marks a historic milestone in India's wildlife conservation journey. 🌿 Key Highlights: 🏞️ Spread across 350 acres of forest terrain 💰 Developed at a cost of ₹300 crore by the Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department 🧠 Designed by world-renowned Australian zoo architect Jon Coe 🐅 Features 23 immersive enclosures replicating natural habitats 🐦 Includes 3 expansive aviaries for diverse bird species 🏥 Equipped with a modern veterinary hospital and dedicated feeding centers The inauguration was attended by Sri K. Rajan, Minister for Land Revenue, along with many other honourable dignitaries and officials.
