This historical event was recreated at Holy Cross Church Cordel, on April 7th, the Good Friday. After lowering the body from the cross, it was laid in a cradle and a small procession was taken. Around 5000 devotees of the parish, witnessed and participated in this event and felt spiritually blessed. This year marks the 150th jubilee year of laying foundation stone to the parish church by the founder, the holy priest, Rev.
