An interview with ¡BioRevolution! Project participant Gustavo Largo Garcia of coffee farming cooperative Asprocafe Ingruma in Colombia, speaking at a farmer exchange hosted by COMSA Co-op, Marcala, Honduras, in 2025, with funding from Equal Exchange and the ¡BioRevolution! Fund. Footage shows scenes from the six day event in Honduras. La Fortaleza, a farmer-led grassroots biodynamic teaching farm in Marcala, Honduras, was the site of Equal Exchange's ¡BioRevolution! Project farmer exchange. Scholarship funds from the sale of Organic ¡BioRevolution! coffee allowed Equal Exchange's coffee farmer partners from Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia to send delegates to this learning exchange. They gained and shared knowledge to improve soil health and climate resiliency. The project supported farmers learning, innovating, and sharing practices to improve the profitability and resiliency of their farms. 50¢ per pound of Organic ¡BioRevolution! coffee—sold exclusively at food co-ops across the US—funds these innovative agriculture projects.
