In this video, I have covered how we can automate complex load applications in STAAD using different custom tools, including three load items which are not yet available in STAAD – moving load on inclined plane, from any global or local direction, hydrodynamic load on tank structure to simulate seismic activity and wind load on pitched roof. Automation is the use of technology to perform different task where we can minimize the human input. 3D analysis and design software STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition is equipped with an API library - OpenSTAAD using which we can automate different process and link any custom template/automation tool to STAAD. This helps us to minimize the modelling, analysis and design time and also help in data transfer process.
