Design Reflection | Adjusting the Neckline & Finishing the First Sleeve (Bouclé Sweater)

In this video, I’m sharing the next stage of my bouclé sweater project, focusing on two areas that turned out to be more challenging than expected: the neckline and the sleeves. I talk through the decisions behind using a contrasting yarn for the neckline, the trial and error involved in finding the right pick-up rate, and how elasticity changed the look once the sweater was worn. I also cover the sleeve construction, why my initial plan didn’t fully work, and how I adjusted the armhole and sleeve shape along the way. This video is less about a finished result and more about understanding the fabric, the construction, and the small technical choices that shape the final fit.
