The Jasmine shows the unity of the people of different cultures and languages in one country which is Pakistan. The idea behind the title ‘Chambaili’ was to give romantic tinge and association with making a different kind of love story- a love story that revolves around ‘the love for mother country’ and love for its future. Set in Fiction, this is a story of a country called Mulk-e-Khudadad (country gifted by God) and set in one of its city, Falakabad. Within the city the story revolves around an area of the city, 'Yaadgaar Colony' a heritage district where political parties and leaders are in pursuit of their own agenda. Corruption is rampant, law and order is deteriorating- political victimization has become the norm. Desperation is setting the tone for the voice of dissent finding its voice through media, leading to more disillusionment. This is a story of courage, romance and sacrifice of a group of friends who are led by circumstances to find themselves at the crossroads of fate. Together they embark upon a journey to eventually form a Political Party with no experience, resources or background in Politics - and seemingly with no possible future!
