WARNING! - This is a long video, definitely more than one cup of coffee is required. In this video, we will attach new wires to the field of the motor, reassemble, put in new grease wicks, and give her a test run. About 40 minutes in, there's a slate for the second section (The Lamp) which would be a great time to pause and make another cup of coffee. We then rewire switch and lamp socket, and replace the nasty, asphalt like shroud with a modern, plastic split loom protective sheathing. It's all topped off with a brand new LED lamp to keep it bright, yet cool to the touch.
