Hello, it’s Hailey :) Today’s recipe is cream puff with strawberry inside. Cream puff with full of strawberry flavor inside, it tastes like heaven. You can make the strawberry compote with a fresh one, but like me, you can use frozen one. So you can enjoy this recipe throughout the year! Cream puff is though to make one. You have to through lots of processes,, I’m a kinda lazy person but I love my recipe(lol) so I make them a lot. And with this cream puff recipe, I never failed with that. It’s one of the best recipes in 2019 :) 🌙Subscribe : ‪http://bit.ly/SweetHailey 🌙 Instagram : @sweethailey_ ‪http://bit.ly/2zdyjxf 🌙 Blog : ‪http://bit.ly/1qjCp8o ✨ Click here for my latest video(Strawberry Cupcakes) : http://bit.ly/2sXeR3g ✨ Give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it! ✨ I'm not a native English speaker, sorry for my bad English description. ✨ 한국어로 된 더보기란을 보고싶으시다면 유튜브 사용언어를 한국어로 바꿔서 확인해주세요! 🌙Ingredients Pate sucree(‘cookie part’ of cream puff) : 70g(5Tbsp) unsalted butter, 70g(1/3cup) white sugar, 70g(1/2cup) pastry flour cream puff : 45g(3Tbsp plus 1tsp) unsalted butter, 60g(1/4cup) milk, 60g(1/4cup) water, 2g(1/4tsp) salt, 5g(1tsp) white sugar, 70g(1/2cup) pastry flour, 2 eggs Strawberry compote : 200g(7oz) strawberries, 50g(1/4cup) sugar, 5g(1tsp) vanilla extract, 15g(1Tbsp) lemon juice Strawberry cream : 1/2 of strawberry compote, 120g(1/2cup) heavy cream, 1 gelatin sheet Whipped cream : 80g(1/4cup) heavy cream, 3g(1/2tsp) vanilla extract, 8g(1Tbsp) icing sugar *만들기 전 : 버터는 실온에 보관하여 부드러운 상태로 준비해 줍니다. 계란은 실온으로 준비해줍니다. 1. Pate sucree(‘cookie part’ of cream puff) In a bowl, whisk the unsalted butter. Add sugar and pastry flour, mix until well combined. Keep the dough in the fridge at least 2 hours. After chill, roll the dough to less than 0.1~0.2 inch( and freeze for about 15 min. 2. Cream puff In a pan, put water, milk, salt, sugar, and butter. Put it in low heat and stir until all butter is melted. Add pastry flour and mix until combined into one dough. When it gets smooth and shiny texture, turn off the heat and transfer into another bowl. Add eggs small amount at a time and mix. 3. Bake cookie choux Put the cream puff dough into the piping bag, and make the 6~7 cream puff. Cut the ‘pate sucree’ into a round shape and put it over the top of cream puff dough. Bake 180C / 355F to 30~35, until it gets golden brown. When it comes out into the oven, put onto the cooling rack until chilled enough. 4. Strawberry compote In a pan, put strawberry, sugar, vanilla extract and lemon juice on a medium to low heat. Mix about 4~5 minutes, until moist comes out. After remove from the heat, blend roughly using a food processor. Put half of the compote in the piping bag, and fridge until use. 5. Strawberry cream Whip the heavy cream and mix with half of the compote. Transfer into the piping bag. 5. Whipped cream In a bowl, put heavy cream, vanilla extract and icing sugar, mix until it gets a stiff peak. 6. Assemble strawberry cookie chow Bottom of cookie choux, make a hole with a chopstick or anything long and sharp thing and pipe the strawberry compote through the hole just a little bit. Rest of the part is filled with strawberry cream.
