DYA717 Japan Okinawa March 5-6, 2026 This is the last video of miscellaneous odds-and-ends photos of a casual visit to Okinawa. March 5 – 6:30 a.m. free, simple breakfast at the Toyoko Inn. Google said today will be 64-73-degrees. Today is my lazy day – not planning on anything special. I jumped on the monorail and got off at the Makishi Station which is at the east end of Kokusai Dori and started BURA-BURA. March 6 – 6:30 a.m. free, simple breakfast at the Toyoko Inn. Headed for the airport on the monorail at 8:00 a.m. Flew on JAL to Haneda. My luggage was transferred to my next flight because JAL and Hawaiian Air are partner airlines. Hawaiian Air took under 6 ½ hours to reach Honolulu. Immigration’s Global Entry line was closed but all U.S. citizens had to do was stand before an image recognition camera, be recognized and all PAU – really easy and smooth. Baggage was a problem. We landed around 7:50 a.m. and I got to curbside around 9! This video is a composite of misc photos I usually share with family and friends. Nothing fancy; you’re welcome to view it.
