Almost every morning when the sun rises, I take a walk along the beautiful Mae Nam Beach on Koh Samui. On the way, I listen to the birdsong and watch the squirrels scurrying nimbly over the power cables or jumping from branch to branch. The fresh sea breeze blows in my face and I listen to the gentle sound of the waves. Many fishing boats have already arrived. I watch the fishermen unload their catch in large baskets. I often come across cheerful dogs playing on the beach. I often go for a walk in the late afternoon. The heat of the day slowly subsides and the atmosphere becomes calmer. These moments of peace and closeness to nature fill me with joy and gratitude.
