Another Kidnappers' Hideout Discovered, Mob Beat Suspects to Death

The people of the Orile Area of Lagos state were left perplexed on Thursday 7th of January, 2020 when they discovered that a tunnel under a bridge that connects to Lagos Island was the hideout of Kidnappers and ritualists. In a viral video, residents expressed shock while searching the tunnel as they found kid school uniforms, a generator set, an air conditioner, and other items. According to eyewitnesses, one suspect with no identification was caught by residents and beaten to death by the mob. Residents in the viral video were trying to salvage some of the items discovered. They further alleged that the kidnappers had killed a lot of people in the tunnel. Another eyewitness had complained of how frequently children got abducted in the area. “A Lot of people are still waiting around there. May God helps us. A Lot of children have been said to have been kidnapped in this area”. It remains unclear if the police know about the said tunnel as none was amongst the crowd.
