Change will not come from foreign aircraft carriers. Nor will it come from nostalgic royal fantasies. A society heals only if it can still produce independent thinkers willing to say, “The king has no clothes”—and if it preserves rational space amid fanaticism. Iran’s future will not be decided by slogans abroad, but by whether its people can rebuild a social contract grounded in fact and truth amid the ruins of power and money. When a society learns to observe calmly in the midst of frenzy, the seed of self-repair has finally taken root.
