Janice is battling cancer, and fighting like a trooper. Janice requested I post this story so she can see what it looks like, she has never been inside. The many stairs would be a difficult physical challenge. Here you go J, I hope enjoy the story. Love you to the moon and back. I am forever grateful that Janice got to see the video that I dedicated to her. Janice lost her battle with cancer on February 1, 2023. RIP my dear cousin. Located at 1050 Joan Crescent, Victoria, BC [email protected] www.the castle.ca Be sure to verify the castle is open if you plan on visiting it for yourself. I highly recommend a visit to this national treasure. I am an annual pass holder. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer questions about the castle. Joan Dunsmuir passed away in 1908 and the castle has had many occupants over the years. Being a Military Hospital, Victoria College, school board offices for Victoria School Board, the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
