Hi there! It’s time to kick off the Junk Journal 3 under 30 challenge #jj3under30 hosted by Margreth ‪@SevenplazaCreative‬ and Toni ‪@CraftybyToni‬ . The goal? Create 3 junk journal items in 30 minutes or less. Easy, right? (Haha… we’ll see) For my first make, I upcycle some pub drink coasters into quirky flip-outs: a flip out, a flip up, and a flip down! These fun little interactive pieces are perfect for gluing into your junk journal of choice. I use printed digitals, fussy cut focal points (hello bird, mushrooms, and a cheeky crayfish!), plus some gesso stenciling, textured fibers, labels, inky edges, and messy splatters. They each have a hidden journaling spot on the back and a handy tuck spot too. But did I finish in under 30 minutes? It might’ve been a tad ambitious... Come flip out with me and find out!
