This was the first quest when I thought, "I should record this." With only a few spells and little-to-no plants/potions, this proved to be a tedious trial of endurance. I found the lesser enemies gave more of a challenge than the boss. The First Trial also demonstrated how looong fights were going to be this playthrough. Hopefully, it'll get better with more spells, plants, and potions... right? 0:00 Setup 0:14 First Encounter 2:55 Second Encounter 5:25 Third Encounter 9:50 Final Encounter 12:38 Boss ----- For my second playthrough, I chose Gryffindor with the idea of exemplifying their courage by playing the entire game on Hard difficulty, 0 offense, 0 defense, and no Dark Arts - keeps in line with personal roleplay choices; my unicorn hair wand would reject the dark magic. "Lyendra," you might be thinking, "why 0 offense and 0 defense?"As fun as it was to slowly RP walk into groups of enemies and decimate everything, I rarely used any plants/potions nor did I need to exploit enemy weaknesses since most died after a 1-2 spell combo. I wanted to force myself to rely on those items/weaknesses to survive. I've enjoyed the added challenge! I'm a bit of a completionist, so I'm slowly making my way through all quests (side and main). I'll eventually upload more of my adventures from this 0 offense, 0 defense, no Dark Arts playthrough, in case you're curious to see more.
