We leave Kings Orchard Marina on the Coventry canal and find ourselves on the Trent & Mersey Canal with our narrowboat in a tight squeeze up the junction! After leaving our mooring near Polesworth we head to Lichfield and on to Fradley Junction where we take a left towards the Potteries. We squeeze our narrowboat through the old Armitage Tunnel (Plumb Pudding Tunnel) with no space at either side for error! We pass the Armitage Shanks factory where Colin can't help but revert to his toilet humour! We end the day in Rugeley, mooring up for some shopping.
