But Paul (the dude who wrote this) reminds us that it’s important to be kind to one another by being tenderhearted (an inward action) and forgiving (an outward action).  First, being tenderhearted means thinking softly and caring about someone, not thinking ugly or unfriendly toward them.  Second, forgiving is letting go of anger and complaints about them.
