New Jersey Transit NEW 2025 New Flyer XD40 25202 on Route 80S Ride

Heres a video that got pushed into priority upload lol. Here is a ride onboard New Jersey Transit's NEW 2025 New Flyer XD40 operating on the 80S between West Side Avenue and Journal Square station via Sip Avenue. First time riding these new XD40s from NJT as I haven't been able to get a ride on them until now lol. These new XD40s were ordered to replace some of their older NABI 416.15 Suburban buses. Right now both 25201 and 25202 are active from at Greenville garage, with other buses preparing to be delivered soon. They will be numbered 25201-25458, similar to when the first NABIs werre delivered, being 5201-5450. These feature (I believe) a Cummins L9 and an Allison B500R and sounds pretty good, and also has a new camera at the front of the bus. I do wish these XD40s were delivered with digital screens like what the XE40s at Newton Avenue has. Currently only 25201 and 25202 are in service, the rest are slowly being delivered to NJT with 6t units either at CMF or Atlantic Detroit Diesel in Piscataway right now. The driver of this bus said more buses will be arriving in spring and be in service around summer. Taken 3/18/2025
