Oh boy. This one was fun to make, and in my eyes it was done out of necessity. I like Jun Senoue's new composition for Sonic Origins but... It just sounds completely wrong. It's like Sonic 4 all over again, and does not fit with the rest of Sonic 3 & Knuckles' soundtrack. It even uses Sonic 1/2 drums, like come on! So I decided to do something about it and give it the Sonic 3 treatment. Enjoy! I have an ogg file linked below, for modding purposes or just general use. This was done from scratch using VGM Music Maker, and VGM2TFI to get the instruments from Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I used Corrscope for the oscilloscope view of the audio channels, and Aseprite for all of the sprite editing/spritework.
