🦇 After a warehouse demolition drove a pipistrelle bat colony into daylight chaos, I built a colorful multi-chamber bat tower from reclaimed plywood and broken plastic mesh — creating a warm high-mounted night sanctuary for dozens of displaced bats. Modern construction left this colony homeless mid-summer. Forced from roosting cracks into bright daylight, disoriented bats faced crow attacks and exhaustion with nowhere safe to roost. I transformed weathered plywood boards and old plastic mesh into a professional multi-chamber bat tower (30×60×12cm, stacked 2cm roosting chambers) with a mesh-lined interior for grip, angled waterproof roof, and pole-mounted at 4.5m south-facing height. Non-toxic black exterior paint maximizes heat absorption. Cheerful yellow and orange clay-paint dots decorate the mounting pole with Joy's white handprints and hand-carved bat silhouette stamps adding folk-art warmth to the tower base. Stacked horizontal chambers spaced 2cm apart fit 40-60 bats in colony warmth. Plastic mesh interior provides secure upside-down clawed grip. Open-bottom entry allows natural bat access while excluding larger animals. As purple dusk settled, the colony returned — dropping silently through the open bottom, filling every warm dark chamber with soft wing-rustling contentment. ⚠️ Fictionalized ecologically-respectful concept for wildlife awareness and education. 🌿 Subscribe for more peaceful nature ASMR builds. #WildlifeShelter #BatHouse #PipistrelleBats #RecycledPlywood #ColorfulBatTower
