All episodes can be found on our YouTube Channel! -- Music by Scott Holmes -- Filmed June 24, 2021 -- www.cincinnatiobservatory.org Facebook: @cincinnatiobservatorycenter Instagram: @cincinnatiobservatory Twitter: @CinObservatory -- Materials: Old Cereal Box Scissors Tape String Plastic Lacing Needle (optional) Beads (Solar Beads if you got em) A constellation that you want to make Directions: 1. Cut out a 4x3inch rectangle in your cereal box--the back of the cardboard will be the front of your constellation 2. Mark where you want the "stars" of your constellation to go 3. Use a hole punch to cut out circles for your beads 4. Tie a knot at one end of your string 5. Lace it back to front so the knot is in the back of your first hole 6. Add a bead and thread your string around your bead and back through the hole 7. Pull your string tight so the bead is flush with the front of your first hole 8. Repeat on the remaining holes 9. Tape your string to the back of your cardboard after the last hole 10. Write the name of your constellation on your cardboard 11. Show everyone your new constellation!
