Click Here to check out video: https://www.prospeedbaseball.com// Baseball Hitting Drill More Bat Speed | Staying Through the Ball (Pro Speed Baseball) This video we are going to debunk two major drills made to stay through the baseball, show you what exactly staying to the baseball is, and give you two new drills that I hope you stayed to the baseball correctly and get you hitting the ball like you never have before. The two drills, that are the go to for most instructors, are the two tee drill and the ball on the ground in front of the T drill. These drills can serve a great purpose when concentrating on keeping the bat through the zone longer, yet they are misleading because they can be performed technically correctly, but mechanically wrong. Reason being is that they only focus on the bat not with the body is doing. A hitter can actually keep the bat through the zone was still pulling out the body. So when the focus is only on the bat we more times and I are not paying attention to keep in the body in as well. What has to happen to stay true through the ball is we have to know what to do with our body as well as the bat. We have to synchronize the movement between her hands and her body the proper way to maximize bat speed into the baseball. The best way to check that your swing is synced up is to see where your chest is pointing right at contact with the ball. For right-handed hitters, someone who is pulling off the ball will have their chest pointing at second base or just left of second base on almost every pitch. Where we want our chest to be as hitters on a down the middle patch is just right at second base about where the second baseman would be playing at double-play debth. On an inside pitch we want to just to be pointing at second base or just a little left a second base and on the outside pitch we want to just pointing just a little right of where it would be pointing on a down the middle touch. There are three pictures and the video that detect where in left-handers chest should be on inside outside and on the middle pitch as well. The first drill we go over is the Lead Hand/Square Shoulders drill where we do the exact opposite of pulling out. A light bat or choked a bat is used in the lead hand and a header will strike the baseball without rotating the shoulders. Still should be done 100 and 200 times before moving onto the second drill to really ingrain releasing the hands without rotating the shoulders. The second drill is the Hands First drill which is a feel oriented drill where the hitter it's into the load stride position and feels like his hands of the first thing that moves towards the ball. A variation of this drill consist of a trigger where the hitter gets in the large dry position and move his hands independently towards the ball then reload his hands and swings.
