That is a price hike of Rs 14,086 over the BS4 Avenger 220 bike.The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise follows the same design language as the other members of the Avenger bike family. Since this is the Cruise model, it gets a large windshield, lots of chrome elements and spoke rims. Unlike its baby Avenger 160 sibling, the Avenger 220 Cruise gets a fully-digital instrument cluster which has info on it like an odometer, a tripmeter, clock, fuel gauge and service due reminder. The panel on the tank has a few telltale lights. While it does get LED DRLs, the headlight is still a bulb unit. The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise shares its motor with the legendary Pulsar 220F. Now equipped with a fuel-injection system, which is almost a necessary fitment to meet BS6 norms, the engine produces 19.03PS and 17.55Nm. The gearbox on the Avenger 220 Cruise remains the same old five-speed unit. The foundations of the Avenger 220 Cruise are simple and trusty. The suspension bits on the Avenger 220 are a conventional telescopic fork and twin shocks. Braking hardware has been upgraded on the BS6 Avenger 220 Cruise, Bajaj kitting the cruiser with a larger 280mm front rotor. The rear 130mm drum brake remains the same as before. Single-channel ABS comes as standard. You find spoke rims on this Avenger bike.The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise is an easy rider, capable of clocking miles on end, thanks to its comfy seat and relaxed ergonomics. There are no direct rivals to the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise but the Suzuki Intruder comes the closest.
