Taking Our Infant on the Disney Dream | 5 Night Very Merrytime Cruise Castaway Cay Day

Our first stop on our very merrytime cruise is Castaway Cay, Disney's private island. Before getting off the ship we grab breakfast at Cabanas, the buffet located on deck 11. We were allowed to get off the ship at 8:30am. Right away we were greeted with coolers (for purchase) and a ton of photo opportunities. The island is home to the family beach, snorkeling lagoon, serenity bay (adult beach), pelican plunge, teen hideout, sports beach, and shops! We purchased snorkeling equipment in advance, and I was able to spot Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Prince Eric! We took Thea to the Spring a Leak splash pad, it was very crowded. The splash pad is located closer to pelican plunge. We had a fantastic lunch at Cookies BBQ. Once back on the ship we prepared for the holiday festivities. The characters were all dressed up for the holidays and there was a Christmas deck show called Mickey and Minnie's Holiday Party. That night we ate at the Royal Palace for dinner.
