Superstar musician, actor and author, Nandi Bushell closes out this year’s conference with a bang. 14 year old Nandi Bushell has taken the world by storm with her exceptional musical talents, especially her drumming skills. At just 7 years old, Nandi and her family started posting music covers that caught the attention of music legends; Lenny Kravitz, Anderson .Paak, Tom Morello and Flea – she even became one of CMC’s Changemakers! Since her last appearance at the conference, Nandi’s star has continued to rise. She has had numerous international TV appearances, building up to a viral drum battle with Dave Grohl. That led to collaborations and performances at the O2 Arena and the Forum in LA with renowned artists such as The Foo Fighters, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Nile Rodgers, Tom Morello, Josh Brolin, Jack Black and Chad Smith as well as a guest performance at the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. In 2022, things came full circle, when Nandi took to the stage at Wembley Stadium to perform with the Foo Fighters again at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert. Nandi has also starred in CBBC’s ‘Andy and the Band’ and Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go! as well as adverts for Nike Play:Lab, John Lewis and Lego Friends. She’s even a proud Gold Blue Peter Badge holder! Nandi sings, plays guitar, bass, piano, saxophone, flute and drums and today, she is a songwriter, recording and releasing her own music.
