In this edition of our educational series, three clinical experts tackle different perspectives on the topic of Future Remnant Live Function. Roel Bennink, Professor and Nuclear Medicine Physician from Amsterdam Academic Medical Center, opens the webinar talking about the clinical need for FLRF and describe the collaboration between Amsterdam UMC and Hermes Medical to create the SW function for Liver Remnant analysis. Michael Wilson, Nuclear Medicine Physicist, thereafter presents the procedure used to support liver remnant studies HPB at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham as well as associated quantitative measurements. Bobby VM Dasari, MS, FRCS, Consultant HPB and Liver Transplant Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham concludes this seminar by sharing the benefits of FLRF and of the software when planning surgery as well as his view on future applications.
