Follow me on Twitter / intercitysimon Today, we are taking a trip on the N-set carriages hauled by Australian train operator V/Line's N-class locomotives, onboard one of their longer regional intercity-style services to Swan Hill. While most of the carriages on this train date back to around the 1980s, there are still a few former Z-class carriages that have been integrated into some of the N-sets used on this service, which date back to the 1960s—making them around 60 years old! So, join me for a journey on these almost-heritage train carriages as we travel out to Bendigo.
