An esophageal endoscopic submucosal dissection is performed with Eleview™, a submucosal injection agent. Procedural steps include: 1. The esophageal lesion is identified under NBI. 2. The lesion is demarcated using electrocautery. 3. A semi-circumferential mucosal incision is made proximally. 4. Eleview™ solution is injected on the distal side of the lesion. 5. A semi-circumferential mucosal incision is made distally. 6. Creation of a submucosal tunnel from proximal to distal is shown. 7. The dissection of the submucosa is lateral to the tunnel. 8. Lateral borders are incised to achieve an en bloc resection, showing the curative resection of a 7-cm T1a esophageal squamous cell cancer. 9. A follow-up evaluation of the resection is shown, 3 months post- operatively. Eleview™ is a ready-to-use submucosal injection agent for assisting in the endoscopic removal of lesions, such as colon polyps and adenomas in the gastrointestinal tract. It is designed to help endoscopists improve their procedural capability and reduce complications. When the endoscopist finds polyps or adenomas, Eleview™ is injected into the submucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, under the lesion, providing lift of the mucosal layer and forming a safety cushion between the two layers.
