And it surely gives me those vibes of the nostalgic Xbox 360 days when someone told you that their dad works for Microsoft and they'll have your Xbox banned. But in 2024, it doesn't work that way. And Xbox Enforcement relies on AI in these situations, so this guy thought he had he can ban my Xbox account after I trash talked him. Unfortunately for him, it was the "Rated PG" trash talk that is mentioned in Xbox Code of Conduct propaganda. It all happened on a Sunday night, enjoying some Left 4 Dead 2 on the Xbox Series X. Other than the random that told me to enjoy my Xbox ban, there was really nothing out of the ordinary in this game. I joined the game while it was in progress and while my teammates were winning, so I was surely gonna stay. I tried contributing to the score by being in the most perfect opportunity to get a kill, but it was stolen by the random that claimed he's gonna ban my Xbox. As followed by L4D2 customs and traditions, I voted to kick the random out. The vote wasn't successful and that really didn't matter to me. I simply sent him a message on Xbox, telling him not to steal kills. The game could've proceeded from there without any other concerns. He responded to my Xbox message with an excuse. I disregarded the message and continued to try to enjoy the game. The random was upset about it I guess, so he voted to kick me out. And from there, the game was about who can vote the player out of the game. He voted to kick me out, I voted, so on and so forth. It went on like this for almost the whole game, up until I won and this guy was kicked out of the game after dying. I'm sure he was angry, and said he's gonna ban my Xbox account after I called him a "loser." Hey, it's the trash talk spirit. And puns aside, he really was a loser. He lost the game in a competitive setting, making him out to be the loser. Besides, that term is associated with the "Nice trash talking" that is promoted by the Xbox Code of Conduct. No slurs, threats, or anything personal was said; hence, I did nothing wrong in terms of trash talking. Besides, he was the one that spun this out of control. After stealing my kill and the vote not being successful, he could've stopped there. In fact, he had the whole game to stop his actions. So if anything, he had multiple chances.
