This video goes over the most important knots for rockcod and lingcod fishing here on the west coast and how to tie them. These fishing knots are going to get you through just about every application on a basic level for rockfish and lingcod. You are going to need to learn to tie the Uni to uni knot which is a great knot for connecting braid to the leader. Following that you are going to need to learn how to tie the Palomar and the improved clinch knot. These will be used to tie lures to the end of your line. Lastly, are going to be either the dropper loop or the surgeon's loop, these knots will be used to add multiple lures/baits to your fishing line for rockfish.
