Thanks to the Pueblo community for coming out to support local artist Kellie Cason O'Connor at her artist's reception last evening at Kadoya Gallery. We enjoyed not only amazing art, but also Appalachia finger food by Ernie Duncan and music by Riki Takaoka. The reception also included the fortuitous arrival of two musicians - Jake and Magus - on a stopover on their way home to Memphis. This special video -- THE STOPOVER -- features three sets performed in the Gallery by Riki Takaoka, Jake Quillin and Magus Vaughn. Kadoya Gallery presents the exhibition Roots Run Deeper by Pueblo artist Kellie Cason O'Connor. This exhibition showcases the artist's powerful journey to capture her lost and decaying roots in the American Southeast. To accompany this exhibition, Kadoya Gallery is also pleased to feature the world premiere of her Polaroid 20x24 images in her series Ties that Bind.
