Construction Details Unfold in this Sea & Sand Vortex Marble Build #48

In this video I create a borosilicate glass vortex marble from start to finish. I start out making a large gather off the main clear rod and shaping to a conical tip. Gold fume striped with color and clear dots are built out in layers before marvering into a gentle twist. Blue frit and a black base complete the background. The back side is decorated with raked lines in aqua blue, deep blue and purple amber floating over the reflective base.
