Our strategy to manage post-operative pain is with a multimodal approach including ice and heat, mindful movements, supportive bracing, and a combination of oral medications. Medications such as Tylenol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAID's), muscle relaxants, and opioids work together to provide the best benefit rather than any one alone. Medical cannabis is a personal decision and may be helpful for some.
