Make your own Mocha Frappuccino at home that tastes even better than Starbucks! This frosty Mocha Frappuccino recipe is so quick and easy to whip up on a hot day with ingredients you likely already have on hand! Make this summer treat at home for a fraction of the price those fancy coffee shops charge! This recipe can be made with non dairy "milks" as well. Recipe: 4 tsp's instant coffee granules 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder (you can also use chocolate syrup instead of cocoa powder) 2 & 1/2 tbsp's granulated sugar ( you can use maple syrup instead if you like and also adjust the sweetener to your taste) 2 & 1/2 tbsp's boiling water ...mix above ingredients in a mug or small bowl and stir until smooth. Pour coffee mixture into a blender and add: 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup heavy cream (or use half & half cream, non dairy "milk" or any type of milk you wish...it won't be as creamy with less fattening milk) 2 cups ice ...blend until smooth and garnish with whipped cream (or non dairy topping) and drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired. Makes approx. 600 mls. (20 ounces) (you can pour leftovers...if there are any...into ice cube trays, freeze and toss those into the blender for a quick drink at your convenience ).
