Heavily built with a Kevlar-reinforced hull, the Vector’s large fuel capacity gives her the range to fish much further offshore than many boats this size. While the forward-seating layout is perfect for day cruising with family and friends the real strengths of the 2796/2800 are focused on fishing. Wide walkways make getting around the console easy and secure, and the Vector’s uncluttered cockpit provides plenty of space for several anglers to work without bumping elbows. Standard fishing features include a 50-gallon transom live well, a leaning post with rod holders, a bait prep station with a sink and cutting board, tackle storage drawers, two insulated fish boxes, horizontal rod holders, and three transom mounted rod holders. The roomy console houses a walk-in head with electric toilet. Recessed bow rails and pop-up cleats are great features, and the fold-way stern seat comes in handy when guests are aboard. Fit and finish is well above the competition. Twin Yamaha 225hp outboards top out at 40–45 knots. The saltwater Hydra-Sports Vector 2800 CC features a Kevlar-reinforced hull and has a cruising range of more than 500 miles. Like any of the Vector Series models, anglers can wave goodbye to the shore and run confidently toward the blue water. This Hydra-Sports 2800 has been well-maintained and lift kept from new and performs beautifully. Her current owner piloted her from his home in Palm Harbor Florida (north of Clearwater) all the way to the Keys for lobster season this fall and can confirm that she will make this lengthy trip on a single tank of gas with fuel to spare.  Included options include a forward bimini sunshade and a high-power light bar. Her stereo is new and her Garmin plotter was replaced in 2017.
