Tremendous progress has been made on efforts to enroll girls and boys in school in equal numbers. To build on those achievements, though, it is imperative that the global education community places its focus on ensuring that girls complete secondary education with the skills they need for healthy and productive lives and livelihoods. This briefing will include high level remarks on the ways in which the achievement of the aforementioned goals is being pursued.
